We do however have somebody who does what Georgie did (i.e. snap at the heels of defenders closing down long balls etc) - Matt Done
Unfortunately thats virtually all he can do. Fortunately for us, when Done chases and then wins the ball he knows what to do with it!!!!!! |  |

Don't have any axe to grind with George, he was limited talent wise but always tried his best and put in a good shift. We have had a lot worse over the years, hope he does well in the future. |  | | |

Until he acknowledges his crimes and apologises I dont think any club should even consider signing him. Even then I think he's likely to re-offend in the future.
And for those who think he's not guilty of anything- I for one definitely did not consent to what he subjected me to.

All true, but he still made the most of him whilst he was available, whilst he's not even been offered that at Tranmere. The easy thing would have been to ditch him but whilst at his disposal, he used him and got every bit out of George that he could. I always admired George for his effort in the limited times I saw him play. However, the game against Peterborough this season reaffirmed to me that he was a passenger and just wasn't up to the level we're now at.
The fact we got money for him was as hard to believe as that shot he put out for a throw in against Posh. |  |
