Is Chris Peddy on 15:30 - Jan 7 with 2174 views | Toast_R | Very odd reporting. Luton in that first half were just like Watford were on NYD. A team that should be doing a lot better but, appears to be drifting. The equaliser did skew the momentum in their favour until QPR scored again, then they didn't have much of an answer except set pieces. The Premier League really swallowed them up and shat them back out again.

Is Chris Peddy on 15:38 - Jan 7 with 2101 views | Paddyhoops | Looks like it . My brother in Ireland said as much . I like the Beeb but their coverage of the championship is abysmal. We barely got a mention on the sports reports on 5 live this morning. Our two “ fortunate goals “ and Rob Edwards bad luck (Your shit , mate . Suck it up ) we’re the main points in his report . Not the fact that we should have won by a lot more. Dreadful . I think QPR fans in general call it as we see it . Sounds like this fella had an agenda and it didn’t involve us.
Is Chris Peddy on 15:41 - Jan 7 with 2075 views | Benny_the_Ball | Funny Boston, I thought the same thing when I read his report. A wee bit too much emphasis on how unfortunate Luton were, how lucky QPR's winning goal was, and how QPR's first goal should've been ruled out for handball.
Is Chris Peddy on 15:41 - Jan 7 with 2076 views | Juzzie | Luton fans last night saying how they should have spent better in the PL. What does that actually get you though?.... Perpetual 17th and all you are doing is getting money to keep buying players & their obscene salaries to keep you.... 17th. Repeat. Waste of time. All that is happening is the income from the PL is going straight to the players (and agents) leaving nothing left for anything else. I actually think they made the right choice by the looks of it. Buy some players and don't do a Southampton. They did make quite a decent fist of things on the most part and were 2 wins and a draw from safety. Most of their defeats were generally by a goal or two. Southampton have shipped 5 goals three times already so far and are on course to have one of the worst PL seasons of any club in recent history. Looks like they've decided to use the money to finish off the new stadium which it totally the right thing to do.

In fairness, that's all factually correct. He does go into glowing terms to describe their equalizer, but the report doesn't do justice to the quality of our overall play. Someone could easily accuse the Sky Sports panel (Ainsworth & Mackie, no Luton representation) of being biased in our favour too..... | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Is Chris Peddy on 15:53 - Jan 7 with 1982 views | kensalriser | I'll précis: Luton Town was robbed. QPR scored a goal the bent ref should have disallowed when Frey picked up the ball and drop kicked it in the goal. Really unfair. Luton Town righted the wrong when the brilliant McGuinness scored a brilliant goal with the world's best ever header that was really brilliant. After a very strong start to the second half by a resurgent Luton Town, the finest football team the world has ever seen, QPR took the lead with the jammiest, flukiest goal this side of Jamie Pollock when Chair's shit free kick took a freak deflection off the clueless Fox and into the net. That was really unfair too. The brilliant McGuinness nearly equalised with another brilliant header but it wasn't as brilliant as the first and Luton Town had to endure a loss against a team that's so shit they were bottom last week. After the whistle QPR's Jimmy Dunne mocked us and that was really unfair and I'm telling my Mum about that.

Is Chris Peddy on 16:42 - Jan 7 with 1657 views | Jevlar | Yeah I had to comment on the article on BBC sport, which I don’t normally do, querying that we rode our luck. Also mentions how McGuinness’s last minute header grazed the bar, when it simply didn’t. Chris Peddy peddling a narrative that didn’t happen.

Great to see Gareth Ainsworth and Jamie Mackie as the pundits and they obviously both still love the club and even admitted they were both bias in thier analysis. Good to see that after everything Gareth still has a soft spot for us.

With respect to the first goal it wasn't factually correct, it's his opinion. I'd accept the argument that it could've been ruled out for handball. To say it should've comes across as rather peddy (see what I did there) and partisan. Whilst the second goal itself was fortunate, QPR were the better team and deserved the win. His report gives the reader the impression that Luton were the superior side and the footballing gods are against them.
