Never mind I made a boo-boo.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Anyone got a best guess when they may go on sale? I am presuming even with our dwindling form and it being a Weds night, it still might be popular. Not sure of the allocation there, either?

Oxford general sale is March 21st so I am guessing our allocation will depend on their sales.
If anyone offers you tickets for the West Stand do not buy them under any circumstances.

The grass is always greener.

At a guess I’d say that’s the end without a stand!

I think that might be the empty end with no stand there.

The whole stand holds 5,000 and we’ll only get 1/2 of it,so depending on how many seats are covered by netting to segregate the fans,I guess we’ll get around 1,800-2,000.

Coventry were allocated 1,500 for their game a couple of weeks ago, as were Pompey in Feb so I’d say that’s the allocation.

A mad scramble then.Hopefully they won’t allow a free for all at 1,000 loyalty points like Reading a couple of years ago.

I was told (potentially incorrectly) that Bristol C were only haven 1100 for their match at Oxford recently.

From Brizzles website:

“Tickets for Bristol City’s trip to face Oxford United will go on priority sale on Monday, January 13th (10am.

The club have received the full allocation of 1,497 tickets for the trip to the Kassam Stadium, and this will first go on sale to Season Ticket holders who have attended six or more Sky Bet Championship Away fixtures (up to and including Sheffield Wednesday) during the 2024/25 season, before further priority categories”

Same allocation as Cov and Pompey, As per their websites, so it appears that will be our allocation.

It's a fair amount as capacity around 10k.

Went there quite a few times when my dad was.around, as we followed London Welsh rugby and they played at the Kassam for home games due to getting up to Premiership level.

Weird having no stand at one end.

A strange spectating experience indeed !!

Yeah I seem to recall years ago Bournemouth being like that.

And when I used to watch Padova being crap in Serie B, they had an end missing. Took them about twenty years to actually put a stand in!

Poll: How old is everyone on here?

Must say I've been impressed with the way the remote/digital tickets have worked for this. Pick the seat you want so you can go front to sit down or back to stand up, emailed straight to you to print at home or use on your phone. Save a lot of a hassle if most clubs did this. I think it's only us, Swansea, Plymouth and Oxford atm in this division.
