Pirates show in Majorca
at 09:34 26 Jul 2016

Anyone on here been to see Pirates in Magaluf? Can I get some advice please.. Is it best to book in advance or can u get a better deal when on the island? Taxi or bus from Santa Ponsa best? I'm assuming it's suitable for a couple of 10yr olds? Any other tips would be appreciated. Looking to book on August 18th or there abouts. Many thanks.

Your experience of spurs fans obviously differs from mine. Went up to white hart lane a few years back and I found them to be some of the more decent fans I've encountered. Wouldn't say welcoming exactly, but respectful. Speak as you find as my old nan says. Ash scored if memory serves me correctly.

Didn't like them last season coz of that obnoxious bellend Nigel Pearson. Wanted them to win the title this season up until about 2 weeks ago coz I like Claudio Ranieri. Seems like a cool grampa type. Anyway, changed my mind when I witnessed Leicester fans being interviewed on sky sports news. Never seen such a bunch of ungracious, cocky, ugly, retarded Neanderthals in all my life. Well not since Cardiff last came to town anyway. Spurs for me!

My 2 personal favourites are...

Drums should be used at matches - big drums, little drums, all sorts of drums could be involved.

A leading fan should use a megaphone to get other fans singing and cheering

Already looking forward to reading the minutes from the next meeting, when it all falls flat on its arse.

Anyone know when this is due to air? Colin Murray was advertising a full length interview a few weeks back so it must be due around now. Ta.

Swansea blitz
at 07:55 3 Sep 2015

It is a well known fact that Swansea was hit harder by the Luftwaffe than any other part of Wales, and yet last nights programme saw fit to dedicate 45 minutes of a 1 hr programme to Cardiff. Of course the bombing of civilians (whether intentional or not) and the subsequent loss of life, regardless of what part of Wales is tragic, but as per usual there's a hefty bias toward a that little South East corner of Wales. Anyway, a fascinating programme none the less.

Fascinating programme. Shame the first 35 minutes was all about Cardiff, followed by 5 minutes on Pembroke, a further 5 minutes on Bangor which left 10 minutes to talk about Swansea before it was back to Cardiff. Well it was a bbc Wales production so what was I expecting?

The old Aadvark Cymru website..
at 12:28 30 Jan 2015

Carrying on from the Teabag RIP thread, try this link to the now defunct Aardvark website. A guide to all things Swansea. Funny as f**k.
Sorry, forgot to say the full link doesn't work, but if you click this link..

https://web.archive.org

and then paste this next link into the browse history box..

http://www.aardvarkcymru.co.uk/index.htm

and finally click on any of the dates highlighted in a blue circle.

Bit long winded but worth a look.

It's all coming back to me now. This tea cozy Pete graphic was used as a print on a t-shirt you could buy from the website. Shame it's not running anymore.

I remember this picture from a website called aardvark cymru or somethin? Looks like it now defunct. Had some good stuff on it. Teabag was featured along with the Killay woodman, and some other local characters. Anyone else come across it?

Anyway, Rip Pete, and god bless.

1 or 3 match ban?
at 09:24 9 Dec 2014

Hopefully none, but am I right in saying that a straight red doesn't always mean a 3 game ban? Last year Vorm got sent off under similar circumstances vs redbirds and I'm sure he only received a 1 match ban. Anyone remember?

What the actual f@@k? Daughters fifa15 arrived today (xbox360), Swans vs Swans first game up. Both went to sub Gomis (sorry Bafe) off for Wilf and realised to our horror that he wasn't on the bench, or anywhere else for that matter. She's devastated! Any ideas?
