O'Dear! Darren joins the exodus
O'Dear! Darren joins the exodus

Darren O'Dea is the latest player to join the number not part of Neil Warnock's plans.

O'Dea would have sat out tomorrow's trip to Cardiff, due to his latest suspension following his sending off on Tuesday night at Blackpool.

The Irishmans's gaffe at Bloomfield Road appeared to make up Neil Warnock's mind whether or not to offer O'Dea a permanent deal. Warnock described some of O'Dea's performances as "average" and revealed he was letting the Eire international leave early so he could enjoy a break before the Euros.

Warnock also revealed that he had targets in the central defensive department, so hopefully he will be able to bring in someone of a better quality than the man who divided opinion among the Leeds fans.

I was in the team O'Dea camp, okay his distribution was limited but he was good in the air and would have been a useful squad member, however I respect Warnock's decision and we have got to keep 100% behind our new manager in supporting him to get in the players he wants at the club.

I wish Daz all the best for the future!

(Just got to break the news to my two lads who had his name printed on their shirts!)
