Neil Warnock's improper conduct towards referee Mark Halsey has cost him £2000 but at least he escapes a touchline ban.

Warnock admitted the charge after it was alleged he told the Leeds players not to shake referee Mark Halsey's hand after the Whites' crashed to a 1-0 defeat at Millwall just under a fortnight ago.

Warnock was enraged because Halsey had earlier dismissed Luke Varney.

Warnock wrote to the FA and although their punishment hit him in the pocket, he could have faced a maximum of two matches in the stands.

The YEP report that Leeds face an anxious wait as the FA are deciding what penalty to dish out for the scenes at Sheffield Wednesday in October, where drunken thug Aaron Cawley, 21, received a 16 week prison sentence for attacking Owl's keeper Chris Kirkland.

Meanwhile, following Police advice our home games against Cardiff (02-02-13), Millwall (02-03-13), Huddersfield (16-03-13) and Sheffield Wednesday (13-04-13) now will kick off at 12:30 instead of 15:00. The official club website also revealed that the games may be subject to further change if the TV companies decide to televise any of them.
