Roberto Martinez has a slight dig at Paul Anderson and Andy Robinson over their summer moves

Martinez was speaking in today's Wales on Sunday and clearly still feels aggrieved that both Andy Robinson and Paul Anderson have moved this summer for money rather than footballing reasons.

Robinson left the Liberty earlier in the summer to join Leeds after six months of contract talks were unable to reach an agreement and he signed at Elland Road just days before they lost the play off final at Wembley to Doncaster.

Anderson elected to sign for Nottingham Forest after a season long loan spell at Swansea and strong interest from the Swans to bring him back for a further season.

Both reasons were cited to be money motivated although both of them could claim that it was closer to "home" to play where they are playing now.

Both players also stated publically that they would like to extend their stay at Swansea but that is not something that Roberto believes was anything more than saying the right things.  Talking to Wales on Sunday shortly after signing Ferrie Bodde into a long term deal at the club, Roberto said “We’ve (Ferrie and himself) had a great relationship throughout.

“He never lacked respect because what some people were saying painted a different picture on the outside.

“Internally, he was not kicking up a fuss and at the end actions speak louder than words.

“Not long ago we had players saying the right things to the press, but, when it came to the crunch to make the decision, they decided to go for financial reasons."
