Watson Gets Reserve Run Out

Kevin Watson this evening played an hour for the U's Reserves as they drew 1-1 at Norwich City.

Watson has only made six appearances for the first team this season, having missed the first three months with an ankle injury picked up during pre-season, and being out of action since the beginning of December with a calf injury.

Teddy Sheringham and Karl Duguid were also in the U's line-up tonight and both played the full 90 minutes.

Jamie Guy scored the U's goal, equalising just before the hour mark after City took a 1-0 lead in the first half. The draw is the Reserves seventh this season.
