Star investor aids blind Leeds supporters
Star investor aids blind Leeds supporters

Larry Nance Jnr has donated £5000 to help a blind Leeds supporting couple made homeless after a no-fault eviction.

Currently playing in the NBA with Atlanta Hawks, the 32 year old basketball star is one of the "celebrities" who invested in the club as part of the 49ers takeover.

Whilst it's easy to be cynical about this type of thing, like Will Ferrell for example rocking up for our defeat to Burnley, Nance was obviously touched by the plight of a blind couple Cath and John Roche, both Leeds United fans who are being evicted from their home in Blackpool due to a no fault eviction.

He's pledged £5000 to the Go Fund Me page set up by Karen Sugarman aims to raise £135,0000 to buy the property outright.

It has been their home for the past 22 years, they were served with an eviction notice just over two weeks ago after their landlord defaulted on the mortgage.
