 Tuesday, 20th Jul 2010 08:26 by TheSilkWeb Old Silkmen favourite Rae Ingram will be back at the Moss Rose on Saturday afternoon as guest of honour for the Manchester City friendly. Rae joined the Silkmen from City in 1998 first on loan and then on a permanent deal at the start of the 98/99 season. He stayed for three seasons making 90+ appearances scoring just the one goal. During his time at Macc he suffered with ME and was out of action for a long time. After Macc he joined Port Vale where he didnt have much luck with illness again. This time he had a non lethal strain of meningitis. He moved to Bangor City in 2003 before retiring from the game at the end of the 03/04 season.
