Not sure this is all about results. He was linked with other jobs last summer and it wouldn't have been surprising to see him leave at the end of this season wherever they finished. With a manager who might have one eye on the future, the players themselves possibly needed the change to keep them focused as relegation became a distinct possibility. |  |

we will see at the end of the season if the Swansea chairman has made the right decision - but it is a bit of a risk bringing in (presumably) a new manager with only 14 games to go - even though I agree it isn't a hasty decision as such | | | |

Injuries and The Europa League has been the plague of Swansea this season. That being said, I'm surprised that they weren't a lot more active in the January transfer window. Despite their recent run of form, I can't ever say I felt like they were going to get relegated this season. Laudrup was the victim of success and raised expectations - I personally can't see anything more to it than that. | | | |
