Requested a new season ticket to add to my own
Didn't have any ja points
Was told on phone I had no chance
Then had 2 calls to house tel & 3 on mobile saying I had been picked out at random to get another ticket but had to pay within 24 hrs, which I did
Have had 3 voicemails and 5 emails since saying I had been chosen to get a ticket

I was told once that because we have literally thousands of season ticket holders they often go on and off sale at regular intervals. Seems pretty obvious to me why they are and are not at times on sale.
The system for selection is a different matter. Maybe there isn't one, so thats one less job to worry about. The club has no real issues selling out at home, so they probably don't see it as a problem.

I thought the waiting list started from fresh each year when the club ask for anyone interested to contact them, they then use the JA points from the previous season to decide who's top of the list. It gets a little more complicated though because some only want seats in certain areas and others want to sit by mates.
Its not difficult to get a season ticket if your a member of the JA membership who attends plenty of games. | | | |

Maybe it's not in the clubs interest to say how many or if there is a waiting list, because if there was let's say 2000 on it, other people who aren't on it, but would like a ST aren't going to rush to join if there is 2000 in front of them. Where as now anyone who'd like a ST will be still contacting the club. | |

I received a phone call from the ticket office that a ticket is available for me,so I went down the office picked my seat and paid. So personally I think the system worked well.
