I cant figure this
I have an android TV box running XBMC that was Frodo 12 linked to XBMCHub
To get this add on here I needed to upgrade to Gotham 13.2 which I have done and assumed (wrongly it seems) that it would overwrite the current XBMC installation
I now have the old version with picture no sound and the new version with sound no picture so somewhere they must I assume be interfering with one another

The whole thing is a bit random to be honest. It will not let me install iptv simple player which seems to be needed for the channels
Is there a way of updating the xbmc version as the clean version I had of Gotham had it already in there?? | | | |

I notice the box has an all winner chip. Downloading vanilla Gotham from the xbmc site is not a good idea as it does not fully support that chip. The vidon.me version has been specifically developed for allwinner chips as it features something called hardware acceleration. Gotham may work but you may get choppy video on HD streams. Mobdro is still an option run from the home android screen. | | | |

From what I can see mobdro does exactly the same as this pvr thingy but as a standard android app instead of within xbmc. You can download it from the mobdro website not google play store. Try it and see. I'm running it on a similar android box to yours (ie it has the all winner a20 chip). It also runs on my cheapo tesco hudl along with the xbmc pvr thing. | | | |

1channel is blocked from the UK, yes a vpn gets around it.
I'm permanently connected to a vpn in the Netherlands and nothing is blocked. | | | |

I have a cheap quad core rockchip box, was £40 on Amazon.
I have to use spmc or beyond xbmc to get hardware acceleration.
Stock Gotham work's but it's not tuned to my hardware. | | | |
