No brainer if he is available for that sort of money.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

7m for him and Kylie would be a fair deal. Looks like that bus is already in Newport.

Of course, it depends on whether or not he wants to come here permanently. If he does, then sign him up!

If he is still here next year he'd be first choice in front of Leon.

Yes from me. Needs to 'beef up' tho. Still young, could fill out.

£5m? Get negotiating Huw - as someone else said £7-8m for both of them would be decent business.

Yes for me, shown flashes of being able to run a game from the midfield in those that we see enough possession and he's improving defensively. Not to mention he already understands our system and is about as good of an eventual rpl sennet for Leon as we are likely to find

A maybe from me would keep on loan till the end of season and see if he's got a bit more in the locker.

Neat & tidy footballer does nothing spectacular (do they really cost 6 million these days) surely we can bring someone though who can offer us that, would like to see a bit of this Grimes lad before we make a decision on Carroll.

Well I don't think he's the Dm we need, he's more of a footballing midfielder, Leon does the donkey work now, I see Tom as a reincarnation of Joey myself.

Yes from me.

Could keep him on loan until the end of the season but his value could well go up by then - can't see it going down much for a player of his age with PL experience.

The likeness to Joey is uncanny in my opinion. But this lad, even when our team was on it's knees against Chelsea, he was still going back and demanding the ball to get things going. Very impressive for a young lad in a new team.

My understanding is he played both holding & attacking roles (admittedly for Exeter)

Swansea fans make me laugh, slating Naughton before he kicks a ball for us but are happy to splash out more cash on a midfielder who was part of probably the worst midfield performance in many years.

As I said originally, Id like to see if he offers any more before the end of the season because what I have seen he's no replacement for Leon

Each to their own I suppose.

Yes I'd sign him and unlike Naughton SPurs fans would be very sorry to see Carroll go.

Yes definately, anyone who says otherwise knows very little. Joe allen went for 15 million ffs

Leon was lightweight when he was Tom's age too. Leon hasn't always been a DM.

Tom Carroll is the same age that Joe Allen was when he got his huge money move to Liverpool and I think he's at the same stage of his development. To get Carroll for £5 million, when Joe Allen went for £15 million would be exceptional business.

Won't happen imo.

They'll fill the squad with solid, average premier league players.
