Steve.

Try ovo. Or first utility.

Both cheaper than big six

Get your bill out and get your current tariff rate and then use Uswitch to compare based on your own usage.

Also agree with perchrock, 1st utility and ovo would be my 1st port of call.

Im currently with Npower and they a shockingly shite and I'm desperate to leave. However I cant as I'm in dispute with them and its with the ombudsman. Its taken 4 months and its still not resolved. Their customer service stinks too!

I've gone with Ovo. They are a small company with their base in Bristol.
Prices are good and if you are in credit they give you 3% interest on your money.

We just did ours through money saving expert's energy club - they find you the best deals, you choose which one suits you then it's switched through them and you get £30 cashback after 3 months. Easy and saved us quite a bit. Also they let you know when a better deal is available so you can switch again ;)

I'm with blue price promise and waiting for the price changes this month. I have "considered" what my meter readings should be and choose the deal and potentially save loads more. The good thing about the blue price promise is that the price is held and there are no fees for leaving.
I do wonder if they are going to reduce my bill with the cut.
