Anyone got one of these and does it give you access to the joey channels for football etc.
I've seen so many devices come and go, all generally shite, is this any better ? It's not a cost thing, just a waste of time thing, my days off are precious enough !

I thought that , may be for me as well, but it looks easy to use just plug it in any TV for all the smart TV services, and apparently you can buy them loaded with Kodi to watch all the footy, I was hopeful someone on here had one to give an opinion, seems we in the west are without hope 👠| |

Fine. Alright. I have one.
I have a stick and a box. The box is super speedy--blows away Roku--the stick isn't near as responsive, but it still works fine. Decent for the price, but it won't stand up to a media box. It's an Amazon love stick, so if you're not a Prime member or not into capitalism, you'll want to look into buying a pre-loaded one or rooting it yourself if it'll save you some cash. It's very portable; I use it on a small projector at home and when I'm traveling out of town and abusing others' wifi.
Kodi works fine. The interface is a little slow and jittery on the stick, but the streaming is just dandy, and that's the important bit.
No idea who this Joey fella is, though.
Edit: you don't have to root the device to run Kodi, it's simple to get it running; you'd only want to root it to get rid of the Amazon crap. [Post edited 9 Jul 2015 19:39]
