I would not do this deal at the moment unless quality LB coming in. Ben would be ideal.
However, what is being mooted is Jonny Williams coming here as part of Taylor to Palace. Whoever thought up that idea needs removing not just from our club but our city also. Madness!

I don't have a problem with any player leaving us provided he is replaced by equal or preferably better. After the Williams & Ayew moves when that clearly didn't happen, that doesn't appear to be a priority for the club. Wouldn't like to see out the rest of the season with Kingsley as our only specialist left back. Although Taylor gets a lot of stick on here for not offering much in attack, he is decent enough in defence and the thought of weakening our already weak defence, even slightly, is a bit worrying. |  | | |

It's being reported that Palace have an option to recall.
Not that I'm convinced where he'd fit in down here - he's not going to oust Siggy and he's not ticking the flying winger box. He can't even get into a rubbish Ipswich team at the moment (but that could be as much down to dino-Mick McCarthy's insistence on playing 442 in the 21st Century).
