Genetically, paedophiles have more genes in common with crabs than they do with you and me. Now that is scientific fact. There's no real evidence for it, but it is scientific fact.

Also apparently a new main sponsor this season. Deal still being worked on hence the late kit release.

Commercial progress.

Yeah definitely progress on the commercial side. It’s a bit weird having a sleeve sponsor. I don’t want to see us end up having them plastered all over the kits, like rugby, but if other teams will start to do it then it’s good that we are leading the way for once. I think Man City announced one too but not many clubs have. EDIT - i've done a google search and i've only seen Man City, Stoke and Watford so far.
Yeah I guessed we weren’t having BetEast anymore. I was looking the other day and only saw a one year deal referenced in any articles.

Commercial progress indeed, and we can start putting the kit together piece by piece now, starting with this Barracuda logo on the sleeve.
In this day and age every bit of sponsorship should be sought for a greater financial gain for the club, and exposure into new markets for both the club and the sponsor.

Sorry but I can't see why people are saying this is commercial progress. We don't know how much money Barracuda are paying for this opportunity to show their little logo worldwide. What if they were offered it for nothing in exchange for free cyber security ? Would that be commercial progress ? It's only by knowing how much Barracuda are paying us for this that we can judge whether it's a good deal, and even then would another British company have been prepared to pay more for the same opportunity? We'll never know so we can't really judge it commercially.
Proud to have been one of the 231

Interesting reading into the company, their first major invester was sequoia capital, which is a fund that Michael Moritz, a Welshman who was involved in the setting up of google, is involved in

We now have a commercial deal in place that either saves us money or makes us money where we didn't have one before.
Whichever way you look at it surely that's progress?

I'm with you on this one. An idea of how much they're paying us would be nice. I doubt that'll happen as I'm guessing the bigger clubs will announce a multi-million pound deal for their sleeve sponsor and ours will be pittance in comparison.
The sales speak is cringworthy but I'm sure most people will eat it up.
Does anyone know if any of our board/shareholders have links to this company?

Definately progress if we received money for it and not services.
It is hard to measure whether it is progress in the commercial department itself as there is nothing to compare it with. This is the first time that the prem league has allowed a sleeve sponsor.

Then sequoia must have branched out into high tech.
Boom boom.

Reading the write up I'm guessing that no money is changing hands whatsoever. A quid pro quo.If we were receiving any sort of payment there are many ways that could have been inferred and I cannot see any.

I have no idea what the £ value is but it is nice to see us taking the lead and being one of a handful of clubs to actually get a sleeve sponsor. I would hope there is financial incentive anyway.

This has to be good news IMO. Progress of a kind and one of a few clubs to get a sleeve sponsor. How much it's for is another thing, i think it's probably decent , but i think we should applaud the yanks for at least making some kind of progress, if Dineen had been in control we would be lining up this season with the Patti Raj written on the sleeves instead, for £1000 a year !!
