The board gambled to save a few quid, in a way, they now have the perfect answer to not spend much in the January window.

This is the way I see it to be honest. I would be amazed if the likes of Arias came to us now.
I'm stuck between a rock and hard place, I don't really want to see us spending over the odds on players because I don't see the point, looking at the home games we have had already, and failed in, I can't see us getting out of the mess we are in. But if we don't spend, where else is whatever money we have left from the Siggy and Llorente sale going to go? |  | | |
