Was reminded of this with the football ground thread - seen some weird things at half time around the country, as well as some impressive stuff - what's your favourite.? I wasn't at (Hartlepool..?) away, but remember some stories involving a deck chair or something, unless i've gone mental and imagined it... For me, my favourite was, I *think*, at Wycombe away a few years ago. Some gigantic fat male crooner came on the pitch at half time to serenade everyone. QPR fans immediately started to drown him out with boo's. He turns around and flicks the V at us, starting a massive torrent of abuse. Think he eventually gave up, was amazing. Also think it's worth mentioning our own Tiger Cubs coming on at HQ now and again. Seems to mean so much to the kids to be having fun on the pitch, and the reception from the fans is also great. No matter how good or bad things get for QPR, that's one of the many things that make me incredibly proud of our club. | |
