Could we see some of the under 23's make the squad?
I'm all for respecting the cup but I think I we need to see more " on the field minutes" from several.
I'd start with Baker-Richardson and if he's only on one leg play Bony so we've got some time from him before he hopefully jets off to far flung countries with more money than sense. [Post edited 23 Jan 2019 9:58]

Play Asoro, DJ and Bony (if fit). Also give young Garrick a look on the bench and hopefully get him some minutes.

I think his head has dropped a bit. There's a definite downturn from last season when he was captain playing every week in a very strong side. Going on the tour in preseason and then being almost but not really in the first team for the first month or so, the levels aren't quite there now he's back down where he started, getting irregular games with all the rotation.
Looked the better of the pair against Palace in the cup and for Wales u21s. And the passing range he has isn't something matched by the 4 or 5 other centrebacks coming up behind him (part of the u23s issues are caused by trying to play out from the back without a ball-player like Cian or Joe available).
If he doesn't establish himself soon he may well be surplus to requirements in the summer, and want to move on for his own good in any case. | | | |
