2166 sold so far - 2 weeks remaining of early bird

Very surprised as those figures however maybe there’ll be a last minute rush.

Thought people were desperate to get back letting us all know how many season tickets the club were missing out of.

We’ve got Simon Sadler

Over 4,000 now apparently. Pretty good for the end of May.

It looking like they're gonna sell circa 4,500 by the end of today which isn't as bad as I thought considering there isn't much of an early bird incentive.

Could and should have been a lot more though.

All down to the new owners now.

A positive owner announcement could add 2000 season ticket sales overnight.

Also one signature signing can have a positive effect. There does not have to be a large transfer fee involved.

4,226 is very good for starters.

As Imp said, that can easily be added to.

4,226 is very good for starters.

As Imp said, that can easily be added to.

Blackpool FC have sold almost 4,300 season tickets with two months still remaining until the start of the 2019/20 League One campaign.

Just shy of 750 season tickets have been sold since The Gazette’s latest update last Thursday, when the figure stood at 3,536.

The latest figure, as of the close of play yesterday, stands at 4,275, as the club closes in on their initial 6,000 target.

However, should sales surpass that 6,000 figure this summer, a further target of 10,000 will be put in place.

The club had just over 1,800 season ticket holders when the interim board were first appointed back in February.

Board member Tim Fielding told BBC Radio Lancashire earlier this week he believes the club are on course to average gates of 10,000 next season.

“The current sales are really encouraging,” Fielding said.

“It’s probably two-and-a-half times up from the sales from last season which were obviously affected because of the boycott.

“I’m hoping we’re going to see a steady stream of sales and then the introduction of the new owner before too long should hopefully push us on to the figures we all want to see, which is having five-figure crowds on average.

“We averaged that between February and the end of the season and we want that to continue.”

With the right owners and ambition, 10k season ticket sales may be possible. It'd need a few stars to align though.

Otherwise, a 10K average gate would still be fantastic.

Slowed down a bit but that's to be expected as the early bird has just ended

Hopefully we will see a spike when the new owner is announced

I heard they got gazumped by Lala's crew. Another rumour is a bank transfer of funds from BASIL's offshore account at Canvey Island Investment bank, failed the money laundering test.

Blackpool FC are closing in on 5,000 season ticket sales ahead of the 2019/20 League One campaign.

Just shy of 200 season tickets have been sold in the last week, with the recent spike coinciding with Simon Sadler’s unveiling as the club’s new owner.

The latest figure stands at 4,818, up from 4,651 the previous week.

The club now has 29 days to meet its 6,000 target before the first game of the season, when Blackpool welcome Bristol Rovers to Bloomfield Road.

However, should sales surpass that 6,000 figure this summer, a further target of 10,000 will be put in place.

The club had just over 1,800 season ticket holders when the interim board were first appointed by the receiver back in February.

Sadler, speaking at Monday night’s fans’ forum, said it was his desire to see average crowds of 10,000 this coming season.

“I want as many people to come to the matches as possible,” the new owner said.

“I think the current figure is a great number of season tickets to have sold. The more the merrier.

“I think the club has set a target of 6,000 and I think it would be great to get over that.

“If we can get an average over the course of the season close to 10,000 I think that would be an incredible achievement.”
