Swansea's biggest legend? 11:21 - Jan 22 with 8199 viewsTenbySwan

Reading the info on the Stoke game reminded me that their ground is on Stanley Matthews Way, Man Utd have Sir Matt Busby Way etc. Many teams also have stands e.g. The Bobby Moore stand at the old WHU ground.

This led me to thinking who is Swansea's biggest legend and are they worthy of having the road or stand named after them?

Curt for me but followed closely by Harry Griffiths and Mel Nurse for all they did for the club after retiring as players

Time always leads to the greater lionisation of any legend. Clearly Ivor will always be a great, but Curt is now perhaps the greatest. Played in every division over three spells at the club. Caretaker manager, coach, ambassador. A great player and a lovely man.

Beyond a wall/hall of fame there is a gallery of legends. Harry Griffiths, Mel Nurse and Leon would all sit there with Curt, Ivor, Robbie James and Roger Freestone
