Hard Day's Night.1964 20:46 - Oct 9 with 649 viewsonehunglow

Can't believe I m watching this now 56 years later with wife of 40 years plus etc.

To think these lads were basically together 10 yrs, the quality and volume of their work has endure.

Like most parents ,mine thought they'd be a passing phase

But music that has endured for almost 60 years and without them countless bands would not have formed.

Massively important and significant..

Still,music is nothing but subjective.

The film brought back many memories so Im grateful for that sxxxt or not.

Exactly like with ABBA, the Beatles had an ability to write a prolific amount of tunes/singles soooooo ‘catchy’ that they somehow seem to stick in the memory many decades even after their first release.

Interesting for me to ponder what a lot of their songs would have sounded like if they had been recorded decades later in far more advanced 24 track digital studios’.

The technological advancement in effects, equipment and technology makes what was available to recording-artists back in the day 50+ years back look rather basic by comparison. But would that take away the charm for many a mega-fan?

Argus!

” The film brought back many memories so Im grateful”

And that was just Wilfrid Brambell.

The first ever recipient of a Planet Swans Lifetime Achievement Award.

Hard Days Night is a top line hotel in Liverpool .

The Beatles have made the city of Liverpool a lorra money over the years and they used the city as a cornerstone of their appeal.Fair enough.

Film had some utterly memorable melodies like ,"If I fell" .Melody is often second place for noise and effects, for some, which is fair enough but sxxte Beatles music never was.

Been learning Whiskey in the Jar traditional style ,then ,as a contrast , listened to Metallica absolutely criminally crucify "Whiskey in the Jar".

Chaq un eh
