The realism and positivity in yet another top article is clearly anathema to the doom merchants. They only want and need to hear reasons why we may fail instead of succeed. It's beyond bonkers. It seems the playground bullies are now out in force, team-tagging, inebriated on cheapskate homebrew and Rose.

Everything in the article is spot on, especially the influence of our top players and canny management team with skin in the game.

The first para says it all about many of our weak supporters right now - simply replace 'players' with 'fickle supporters':

'It’s the eve of the South Wales derby, the biggest fixture in Welsh football, the hardest ninety minutes of any game these players will be involved in this season both mentally and physically. The coolest minds, the most collective mindsets, the ability of each player, the belief in themselves and the desire to win for a whole city are the qualities required.'

If our canny Cooper and talented top players deliver like they did when we smashed them on their own patch we should win at a canter.

He’s right. It comes to something when we are 3rd in the league, on the eve of potentially doing the first ever Welsh double and you are having to defend the management team and the club on your own forum.

People must be very bored.
