I am just amazed that some fans don't see that this season is a transition season, absolutely Amazes me!
We lose our parachute payments, over half our first team and management team YET some think we are a top 6 team.
I just want to see what everyone thinks in one post in regards if they see this as a transition season or we should be pushing higher in the league.
Me personally as I asked, we are about right where we are considering the few games we have in hand and all mentioned above.

'Transition season' is such a misnomer, in so many ways.
Martin was close to being ditched, 'won't make it to Xmas' was the word.
We then got some decent results. He garnered some support from Jake S, esp. Yet another poor run, with morale sapping, he'll be gone.
The investors are investors, not fans. Success is all that matters.

Looks roughly an even split to me. Around 9 think it is and another 9 think the notion is simply an excuse. If I have miscounted as couldn’t be bothered to read every single post word for word, then you are probably only looking at 1 or 2 either way. |  |

Everyone believes clubs transition, it happens constantly… not everyone agrees that when you transition - you have to write off a whole season.

It is simply Martin marking time before he knobs off,as he will.At his next impressive job interview,he will be quoting stats-passing stats-but he wont mention the fact we are -4 GD and score fewer goals that almost all other teams. That's supposed to be exciting is it. 28 goals and it's almost February.
He will leave stating he loves the city/people/club/team/players/Rossis and all the club shop staff and their pets too. He won't return. |  |

They all leave, one way or the other, players, managers, other staff. The fans are the only constant and even then, obviously, the day comes when we leave, hopefully to be replaced by TNG. | |

We were a top quartile, Playoff finalist, delivering winning Efficient & Effective pragmatic football, leveraging the very best from limited resources.
We are now languishing in 19th, playing Ineffective Football, losing most Efficiently.
With the Scum now just 3 pts behind. We are so in a dogshite fight.

From a team who was based around fotmation unable to string a few passes together to a fluid team, each player comfortable passing and receiving the ball.
I wouldn't expect that to happen in 1 season considering the job at hand and the turnover of players. Did I expect to be where we are in the league now as we stand, no I didn't.
