We missed Cabango … for everyone who routinely rates him 4 … we missed Cabango. Fisher should have done better (something) for 3 of those goals. Latibeaudiere and Christie were particularly awful; imo Latibeaudiere has no future at Swansea.

Completely agree. I’m a big advocate for Martin. By Christmas he will either be a success or he will be gone.

Don't get me wrong Martin has made some big mistakes over the season, but so did all of our previous managers. He's still relatively inexperienced in management so hopefully this season has been a learning curve. Lets hope its the first scenario, could do with cheering some of the miserable buggers on here up haha

I didn’t realise we were playing Real Madrid today 🤔
hate to think what the score would have been if we were. if we lose by that amount to a club with a fraud as a manager what would be the result against a real side with a proper manager
Playing the system we employ leaves us exposed in ways that have previously been highlighted. Posters say Bennet should have started i disagree we know what he brings and its not what we require. I have said before that our defence is weak in certain situations, add into this Christy fitness issues Wolf who is lightweight and in general a lack of pace throughout the sqaud and we have ended up where we deserve this season.
There have been some great success storys and hopefully we can keep them, in general i think the football we have played has got quicker and better with some good performances. I for one would be sorry to see RM leave and i hope he gets the backing and players he needs to have a tilt next season.
Well done today CC.

Martinez was inexperienced when he came here but git hs promoted...Martin's managerial is similar yet after 18 months managing MKDons he only managed a mid table finish repeated again here... thus rookie manager crap is an excuse....Cooper in his first season as a league manager achieved 6th place in the league.and a playoff semifinal...
the excuses have to end I'll stick my neck out Nartin wont be here this time next year

Edging your bets there SJ
Ha. Yes, what a stupid post : ) What I mean is let’s give him till Christmas, he’ll have a full summer, second window and players he wants by then. If we’re still not firing, he’s gone

Football has come on a long way since we were the only footballing team outside of the prem under Martinez. And maybe Martin will never turn out to be as good as some of our previous managers. Just think we should give managers a fair crack, and if at Xmas we aren't doing so great then look to bring someone else in. I'm not going to bother talking about Cooper as that topic has been on here so much itd be flogging a dead horse.

He was turning me around, but these last three games is worrying, didn't expect to get anything today, but today added to the previous two games is a big concern.

The thing is will he get the financial backing, and can we keep our CF's etc? He will also have the chance to work with the young players Jasper has mentioned.
I really dont get the unjustified criticism of RM on this board to suit posters narrative, i sat with some mates last week after the match and eveyone of us were of the same opinion, that is with a few clever defensive signings and some youth input and a good pre season we could have a pop at promotion playing this way faster.
I also asked who would they like to see replace him if he went, not one of us had an idea, we also struggled to think of players in our price range who meet the criteria.

His inability to get the best out of what he has defines him as a manager. Good managers plug the leaking holes - it’s not rocket science. We look unfit, error prone and lethargic with no leadership on the field or on the sidelines. I’m not confident that anything is going to improve into next season either if I’m honest. I feel for our fans who made the trip today - they deserved a whole lot better than that. Forest are decent but they’re not world beaters. And with Coopers notorious “edge”.

I respectfully disagree BJ, i think he has got the best out of somewho are players playing good football. Obafemi Piroe were rumoured to be problematic early season. If theres one thing i have noticed is as a team they seem to be tight with a few exceptions like Pato who has failed to deliver IMHO recently. I have not agreed entirely with some of his decisions this season but i havent got the inside track and watching them training. I think Kyle has been excellent this season but you have to admit that he cannot stay isolated. Christy has baffled me look like he is getting tired really easily but has played well in general. Wolf is a player im sure but his inability to beat a man and his strength leaves us exposed.

RM really needs to look at what he's asking the players to do. We present far too many chances to the opposition. RM is even being told that in virtually every post match presser by the opposition manager.

It seems that he won't budge from his idealistic view, he wants to setup his team like Pep, but his failure to realise that he hasn't the squad that Pep has and never will, at Swansea City AFC at least. Mentality of the players play a big part as well, we got maybe 3 winners in the team amongst trier's and Journey type players, the % needs to be higher towards the winners, that's gonna be difficult to obtain unless money is spent and the winners not sold. Piroe Obafemi Downes are the winners Ntcham Grimes Naughton are the triers, had high hopes for Christie but I'm stalling on him slightly. The rest are journey men, IMHO

What leaves us exposed is the suicidal passing strategies we employ - frequently losing the ball and heaping pressure on ourselves. Whenever we got easily turned over today we couldn’t recover and with better finishing would have scored 12.
Piroe hasn’t scored 24 goals because of Martin - he’s done it in spite of him. I could see Cooper chatting with Piroe - if they go up he’ll be infor him no doubt.
Martin has us at sixes and sevens - there’s no sign of any improvement. I wonder if the club hierarchy are seeing the same.

If they are not then they need to look in mirrors as well.

You keep away from the mirrors though ffs
The removal of Mr Allen may be the first step in the process. Martin asked for athletic centre backs and got Rhys Williams and Burns who were big flops. Ogbeta has not been risked. Why did Allen get sacked.? Martin does not rate his signing perhaps? Including Ntcham.

Burns has barely had a kick to know if he’s a flop and Williams has performed excellently in both the Premier League and Champions League for Liverpool. Some fans wanting him to be the Van Dijk partner.
That was an elite loan that Martin completely was unable to get the best out of. He was provided the tool but has no managerial manual to know how to use.

Did you watch Williams play? He wouldn't have gotten into a League 2 side. Elite loan. Give your head a wobble.
