Probably be the biggest club ever to play in the championship.

Everton won’t go down.

It’s a fanciful thought.

If they did ,every ground would see their away section filled every game, that is why they are wanted to go down.

And there would only be 2 more promotion places up for grabs.

If the inevitable happens and we sell a couple of players. Should we reinvest chasing 2 places?

We won't have to worry we won't be anywhere near top 2

I think we could be going to Elland Road next season. But lots of twists and turns yet.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Exactly my point. If we are doubtful to be chasing the 2 remaining promotion places why go all in and reinvest any windfall from sales.

Hopefully the rebuilding starts with a clear out on 9th May, together with new contracts offered to Obi, Piroe and Downes and sign Christie permanently.
Recruit the players they need ASAP, while obviously selling those that dont figure in his plans but that command a fee.
That said, I would hope that work has already begun to restructure the squad, ready for automatic promotion next season.
As for the OP, still think Everton will come down

It would be like having royalty in the Championship if Everton were relegated. It may well be Leeds that come down though

It'll be Leeds JL, take a look at the fixtures of Leeds, Everton and Burnley, plus the way Everton approached and played the game yesterday, also Burnley's fight and passion showed at Watford, they are past masters of the "Great Escape" though.

I agree with the bit about every away end being filled.
If my memory serves me correctly, Everton were only a small number of teams to come to Swansea in the premier league that sold their entire allocation every time

Everton
Man Utd
Liverpool
Man City
Spurs
Chelsea

Can’t count Arsenal, because they didn’t sell out when we played them in the fa cup.

Forget the LFC hype. Trust meEverton are as big a club ,certainly in Britain. I discount the Chinese Indian,African,Scandinavian American glory hunters . They are brand followers

Everton is arguably bigger in north Wales. The players from Flintshire that were great is a very long list and I can only go back to the likes of Roy Vernon.

Leeds will sell out every away fixture easily.

How do you determine "bigger than" ?
For example if by fanbase then surely Newcastle are bigger than many ?

Of course they are.
prior to Russian blood money they were pretty anonymous.
