The turnout at the Rochdale cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday is always commendable, including all communities.

It is generally accepted that cenotaphs are in remembrance of any that fell in conflict, but most especially in the 2 world wars. I think I am correct in saying that in WW1, the British army Liberated Palestine from the Ottoman (Turkish) control. In WW2, around 12000 Palestinians fought for the British against Hitler, and many died. They are disrespecting the people they supposedly supporting.
