Whilst sharing the concerns around inflexibility in how we play, especially when it’s been proven we are better when we are mixing up our style, the end of season results and commitment from the club and the Ogdens have established McNulty’s position.
It would undermine and weaken that position if any changes to the coaching/first team management set up occurred without him initiating them. So it’s a non-starter.
The main wish is he acknowledges supporter feelings and utilises the more positive aspects of our play, more regularly.
To be able to recruit the players he wants early rather than assembling a squad late built up of leftovers. Also to not have a significant chunk of his budget taken up with players on large contracts who took us down.
Earlier recruitment will hopefully provide more options. When you have Mitchell and Henderson up top you are limited what football you can play. You cannot expect them to chase a long ball over the top.

Having Mitchell & Hendo up front has zero influence on the football McNulty wants to play.

He probably needs fans to get behind him. Some will, some won’t, and it’s understandable to be in either camp. As 442 has said above, the statements from the majority shareholders could not have been clearer regarding McNulty’s immediate future.
McNulty is the manager. He chooses his staff. I don’t know what world you’re living in if you think he’d just drop down to being a coach under a new manager.
The option you’re missing on your poll is ‘Get results’. If he doesn’t, that’s on him. Not his staff, not a Director of Football.

We could have had Kane and Haaland up front last season and we'd still have struggled, without supply of the ball they're totally ineffective

And yet Mitchell has proven to be effective when we have gone direct in behind. The biggest change on that front was losing Moulden. Have a feeling he could be the literal no.1 target this summer.
Thing with moulden is his wage, I think he is on £5k a week at wolves which for a permant move is out of our range. Also wolves would want to progress him so would be looking at at least league 1 if they loan him out

Has he signed a new deal for Wolves? Only had a quick look and it says his contract expires at the end of the month.
Reason i asked was, someone said on exiles day, can't recall who sorry. That there were times that Jim could have done with someone else in the technical area to either make suggestions or bounce ideas off.

Surprised he didn't nod off at times waiting for a through ball following 25 consecutive passes between the centre half's...
