Has to be right up there You can only beat what is in front of you Fury looked like Jess Willard and about as old Classless, graceless and shows eventually you get found out I’ve seen some of his fans describe him as an ALL TiME great of the sport . Folks ,eh
And i think thats about it. Lifestyle has not heloed and i fear for him without boxing.
Right up tgere in British terms, but you are right, he had to beat Usyhk to get into the worlf listings.
Amazing fighter though supreme reflexes and intimidating size. Lacks true punching power. Street wise and box office.
Morning,me ol mucker He’s been different and made squillions so well done him. There’s been more obnoxious boxers certainly more vicious ones I recently watch another re run if Dempsey ( my hero) and Willard . Size difference was similar Dempsey broke his nose ,jaw and cheekbone and knocked out six teeth . Our Jack wasn’t bothered about size I shudder to think what would have happened if Fury had fought him circa 1919
Fury ,fir a huge man,was quite mobile but only fir so long He didn’t lunch his weight either
I had a decent stream and wifey and I celebrated our 45 th anniversary early . It was a good night After a bad afternoon

Happy Anniversary OHL. Mrs OHL deserves a medal obviously ….
I just saw this on twitter ….
‘Tyson Fury out throws Oleksandr Usyk in 11 of the 12 rounds.
He out lands him in 1.
Optics. If you’re not landing, you’re not scoring’.
Fury lives Morcolme. I am surprised not the Isle of Man. £30m of his £60m purse will go to HMRC in tax unless he plans to give it to charity.
I am grateful as a tax payer.
lol Morecombe It’s rather run down but there s nice views of the Lakes and vast open swathes of sands . Estuary is lethal as those cockles found out to their cost
Fury was well aware of the fact that Usyk could hurt him. It was obvious from bell one. He suffered from PTSD. Fury is no idiot, and as much as he tries to act unhinged and fearless - as soon as the fists touched his face and the left hand repeatedly pushed in his ribs -the first fight came rushing back to him, and he found he had no answer.
He didn't do the right things in training that would allow him to beat Usyk.
In order to catch Usyk, you have to catch him within an exchange. You can't punch and then let him punch. You can't let him punch and expect a chance to hit him afterward. He's a different pedigree. He changes angles. He gets up on his toes and bounces - this allows him to control the timing of the fight.
The fight happens when Usyk allows it to happen. Fury was flat footed the whole night. The only time he could score was when Usyk allowed him to score.
Fury couldn't see through the pain. He couldn't see through the discomfort. Maybe Usyk isn't able to either, but it didn't matter because he is so incredibly skilled. The fight didn't have to go there, and he didn't let it go there.
The fight itself was good. I liked the drama, but it is a 1 watch fight. I'm not going to see anything the second time that i didn't see the first time around.
I really like Usyk - his skill ability, his mental approach to the fight, his heart, his character, and his respect for the sport.

Skill wins out.
That is a quite brilliant post LR. Used to be a very big boxing man but I’ve detested Fury forever. He shows zero respect to opponents and has little class . Usyk is a modern day great, however nowhere near the best top ten of all time at heavyweight anyway
