These last results have seen us moaners coming out of the closet again. All right, we haven't been as poor as we were in the latter part of last season, but the truth is we haven't exactly been shining this season either despite the occasional good result. We're lacking one or two players Nigel says. That certainly isn't exaggerating. More like 4 or 5, I say. We need more skill, we need more physical presence in the team and we need more brains and tactics that actually works on the field, not just on the tactics board. In short, we're poor and we know it. The board and the management seem pleased to have a team capable of perhaps finishing in mid table and probably will for years despite saying otherwise. I'm not sure I'll live long enough to see the Rams as anything other than a mid table Championship outfit. At the current speed it might take 20 years. Wake me up when September comes - in 2032. | |
