He needs to go somewhere and get some game time. There has to be a better player in there surely, as a USA international. Plus the fact we paid good money for him, hopefully he can get enough games to find his form and confidence but getting 5 or 10 minutes here and booed onto the pitch can't be doing him any good.

PezzaSaint pretty much nailed it, we don't have the players to replace our three main threats & maintain their levels, so change tactics? Replace Azaz with Romeu or Bragg and stop dropping so deep,
Also we're very vulnerable to crosses into the box particularly on our right, so my first action of the window would be to bring back Bree. He's looking a good player at Carlton and is a fat better defender than we have currently. That would allow us a flat back four & hopefully reduce balls into the box. |

Quite simply, if we continue with a very high
press, we need pace at the back. Quarshie has that pace but seemed less aware of the long balls from Wrexham than Jack?
If we're going to play 5 at the back, I would prefer a 5-3-2 set up, to allow the wing backs room to go forward. It looked like we were getting in others way at Northampton & hopefully this would address that! |

Strangely losing THB is not that big a loss, in this division particularly. The problem on Saturday was such a high press, Quarshie has real pace but it was Jack that recovered the balls over the top. Also I was quite impressed with Fraser ( who I previously said I wouldn't have signed) especially when he moved to right wing back. And with Grealish going to Everton we might hang on to Tyler 🤞 |

First half we quite literally played 4-2-4, our forwards in a line across their back four. We couldn't hold the ball & it kept coming back through our completely outnumbered midfield. I thought Seesay & Charles done very well considering the lack of help offered to them. When we made the changes it allowed us to gain control in the middle of the park and start to create momentum. As much as I'm not a Fraser fan, he looked good when dropped a bit deeper. Robinson was able to take advantage of the gaps left in front of Brighton's defence.

£400,000 is nothing in modern football, so it's worth a punt for a player with 82 senior games under his belt. Leaders tend to be natural, you either are of your not, 400 games in the PL won't change your personality! |
