I saw Rob's comeback special and it was rambling nonsense. That was quite a while ago now. In his day though he was great.

*Assuming you mean Rob Newman but if there is a Rob Numan, not him.

I've not lived in my home town for 23 years but I've still got the first bit of the postcode in my email address and PlayStation ID.

He was meant to be doing a live show in a few months in a town near me and I was considering getting tickets. Small venue though so I guess his star had waned a lot. He was always good on WLIIA. Certainly enjoyed him more than posh John Sessions.

According to our new bullshit AI overlords, 552 minutes.

The equivalent of over six matches. So his customary 1 in 4 strike rate has dipped in League One a bit.

Nobody on this forum cares less about ex-players than me. You leave the club and you're dead to me. But I did notice a bit of Dykes chatter because he scored this rather decent goal.

Fair play to him, that's pretty special. 0 goals in 18 in the league though so I'll keep Frey instead thanks.

I've not been sure about him either. It's good to see the effort but where are the goals and assists? In that position, with his skill, he should be making things happen.

But then I grew up on Andy Sinton videos.

Film 2025

Simmo, I use an app called Letterboxd which lets you record this and even leave scores/reviews if you want. It's really good.

Last year I ended up on 105 films.

Anyway, this year so far.

1 - Prey. The fifth Predator film. It got a lot of unearned praise in 2022 but I thought it was all a bit lame and safe. The CGI wasn't great either. Felt cheap. On rewatching for the first time though it was okay. 3.5/5

2 - Jaws. Never been a big Jaws fan but I caught it on TV (with adverts and everything) and watched it all. It stands up. The film just looks classy and well shot and it's full of great character actors. It drags a bit but there's never been another shark movie as good. 4/5

3 - I Saw The TV Glow. There's something about the look of this film, and some of the acting performances, that hint at this being a good film. The plot never really gets going though, it just sets up things slowly and jumps around never really getting to the point. It was only after the film ended that I read it was about being trans, which I didn't get from the film at all. Pretentious twaddle really but watchable once. Lots of Buffy nods in there for you 90s kids. 2/5

I prefer Drive which is a rollicking fight flick with Marc Dacascos in it. And a young Brittany Murphy who is insane all the way through it.

Effect on Team Form - Momentum Changer !!
at 18:51 11 Jan 2025

1. We made team changes

2. It was a bullshit foggy freezing day

3. Prem opposition

4. Fully expected given our cup history

Aside from the 'concentrate on the league' thing, if we didn't get fked today we'd get fked in the next round. Whatever happens a fking was coming out way.

I know what you're saying and I get it. F**k Brentford but as good as they are doing now, I can't muster up anything but apathy towards them. Same as Fulham. I come from an age where they just don't matter. And they will never matter.

Right now I'd rather us not be the biggest c*nts in FA Cup history. And if that means Plymouth losing to a bunch of nobody f*ckwits who have contrived a real hatred of us, so be it.

Although, I'll be happy if Brentford eat shit in the 4th round. Pointless c*nts.

It's a tied record at least.

Annoyingly, I have to root for Brentford tomorrow as they are playing Plymouth.

Friday Music PUNK.
at 14:52 10 Jan 2025

Hang on... weren't these guys racist cocksuckers?

UK punk's a weird one. Post-punk was great. But that early basic punk? It's not for me.

Infectious Grooves - Punk It Up. Starts funky, goes mental. A few of the boys from Suicidal Tendencies (the best punk band) tearing it up.

Biohazard - A Lot to Learn. A middling band but this is their punkiest song and their best.

Shelter - In The Van Again

Turnstile - Don't Play. Turnstile are THE band of this generation. And this song is amazing. Especially as it uses a samba beat.

Four! Sob!!!

Right. F**k Plymouth. Somebody go to Plymouth and slaughter a chicken. Give them some of that bad juju. We've got the QPR CURSE, surely we can dish it out a bit.

F**king Plymouth. We're shitter than Plymouth at something. State of it.

Anyone know the numbers for this? Who is in second place and how far behind are they?

I'm sick of this FA Cup BULLSHIT and I'm going to send my hardest thoughts and prayers towards us being the second biggest tw@ts in the competition's history instead of the worst.

Bullshit, Mr Han Man.

Nothing he could do about it. It comes off the defender's shoulder first and then it's just physics, man. Great finish though.

Reminds me of one of Clive Allen's goals against Cambridge a billion years ago.
