They all seem to wear stone island and dress like they are in peaky blinders. There are a lot of them these days. No idea where they have come from and they make it very uncomfortable. When I was a teen in the 00s and early 20s in 10s yh there were idiots but no where near as bad as this lot. The fans were more welcoming and I felt comfortable to go on my own in my teens. Now I feel quite threatened
My best mate is a Watford fan, so over the years I've been to the vic when he had a spare ticket. Saw andre play quite a bit. Very poor player. Loses the ball lots and quite frankly was useless up front. It was so bad the Watford fans around me were laughing at him. I'm not hoping for much.
Makes an absolute mockery of the announcement from the club yesterday stating players would keep their distance from the fans due to the risk. The club have every right to say the above as they are protecting the players.
So I originally lived in hemel Hempstead and milton keynes so it was easy to get to games with a direct train to the bush. I now live in ipswich and trains are so expensive especially since the pandemic and it's not just that cost it costs around 150 quid for a day out to the football.
Now also due to covid I have to travel to liverpool street and then tube it to the bush. It's just too risky still at the moment especially with my asthma I am a qualified nurse in the nhs so trying to stay well to do my job.
Football has really gone down in my priorities since the pandemic.
Speechless. As a cardiology nurse who sees CPR and gives CPR its awful. Its someone's loved one. Those players saw a very distressing incident which will stay with them forever. They need to de brief and rest after watching that event. Erikson was dead at one point. A lot of people do not understand the severity of this. his career is most likely over and will need an icd like muamba. To say football is becoming precious is mind boggling. These players and staff are all human beings who also get affected mentally. UEFA and ALL footballing bodies need to protect those in football when seeing distressing events
I for one have given CPR in one event which will never leave me.
I am a scrub nurse who assists with stents. Heart surgery now is a lot safer and now a quicker recovery which is fab. I always hate not being able to fix the arteries with stents and having to go with consultant to tell the patient it ha to be heart surgery however so many people have bypass surgery now. Also so many patients have TAVIs to too and are absoloutely fine.
I wish you all the best. If you have any question just ask :)
Oh boo hoo. There are seats there for a reason now and you sit in them. I've been to away games and when people stand up I can't see a thing which spoils it for me after spend a lot of money.
I went yesterday I was in block 45 row aa I could only see the poor boy balling his eyes out I didn't see what happened. I could see Clive on that row a few seats down so he may have seen?
Before that I saw three other fans get kicked out by stewards. Some of the fans yesterday were embarrassing.
