Fruit flavoured I like toasted and buttered, sometimes with a bit of apricot jam.
I bought some heavily reduced Red Leicester and cheddar flavour from Morrisons just for kicks the other week. Been having them toasted, buttered with Marmite. So wrong, yet so right!
I wasn’t there but even watching on the stream, I’m not sure I remember going from being supremely confident of victory to complete nerve jangled jelly belly to Sinton-esque cries of joy, quite so quickly. It wasn’t exactly a microcosm of the season but it was very close and must have been 10 times more at the ground.
Richie Wellens was actually quite critical of his overall performance yesterday. Far from the finished article it seems but also says there’s an “unbelievable talent in there”.
I don’t think that’s true. I thought the game was played in a good spirit between two fairly equal sides. It would have been a great game to win for both sides.
I find it difficult to look to look beyond Pixies when it comes to guitar. Neither of Joey Santiago or in particular Black Francis are technicians but I love what they do.
