Also suspect this will help with justifying the expansion too, biggest concern is the travel plan. Suddenly you have fans arriving much earlier than others and leaving later to ease congestion etc...

All good steps in the right direction though if you ask me.

I hadn't renewed but did it as soon as I read this last night, also a number of friends who aren't even Swans fans but recognise that the Trust need numbers have joined!

I wouldn't want him as third choice, I want to see McBurnie as third choice, he has had a tidy pre-season and surely deserves to at least chip in here and there. Unless they bring in Nelson and send McBurnie on loan to a Championship club to play week in week out to further his development, anywhere lower than that and it's a waste of time for him and us if you ask me.

the key part of the statement from the club are the last five words of this:

A club spokesman said: "We are not looking to sell him and therefore we have turned down the offer currently on the table."

Saying he could go, but not for that money mate...

Also I'm pretty sure Leigh Dineen had tweeted the aim to release it in time for Swans fans to purchase ahead of the Euro's so they can wear them over in France... would make sense, so in true Swans fashion, it will launch mid way through or once Wales get knocked out...

Transfer in's and out's for us before deadline day?
at 12:22 19 Jan 2016

Bony's agent has said he is going nowhere, but will look at the situation again in the summer if things carry on... so don't see that happening.

We absolutely need a new striker as top priority. Maybe Doumbia, maybe they were waiting on the deal with the manager before final tick in the box?

Curtis Press Conference

Interesting for Curtis to come out with this:

Curtis on his role as interim manager

“I’ve got no vanity in terms of saying I’m going to stay til end of season. I expect to but if results go against us and they bring someone in at short notice, so be it. Vital we not only stay in PL next season but for coming seasons. If they wanted to bring someone in that really wouldn’t be a problem. We are open. The main thing is club survives. The priority staying in PL.”

Wonder if suddenly someone has clicked that we could do with some help for Curt & Dave Adams?

Will the club sign Doumbia or Sinclair?
“You can probably add 20 names as well. We have to get someone in sooner rather than later. A signing would lift the dressing room and the supporters morale.
“We have to trust in Huw. It’s quiet at the moment but that’s not to say there aren’t frantic deals being done. Next time we meet we should have one, maybe two new faces with us.

Be good to get a couple in, but could have done with them before Watford match really.

Come home Jon De Guzman.
at 13:13 14 Jan 2016

He's had his operation, should be training within 2 weeks, it was for hernia removal...

I'd get him back on loan, add some depth... with Ki struggling for form and Grimes not ready, leaving us with Cork, Britton and Siggy at the moment.

Day After
at 08:57 14 Jan 2016

Officiating cost us dearly, but lets look at what games we have left to play:

I still think there are enough games for us to stay up, but Watford is a must win.

Home games we can win — Watford, Palace, Villa, Southampton, Norwich = 15 points
Homes games we could steal a point — Liverpool, Chelsea, City = 3 points
Away games we could win — WBA, Bournemouth, Newcastle = 9 points

Also have Stoke, Everton, Spurs, Arsenal, Leicester, West Ham away where you never know

Just have to back the team, that's all we can do as fans. It's a shame we couldn't hold on to a 2-1, I think that would have really pushed us on. It will be a battle, but it's not like the club hasn't been in a few of those over the years!

When we building that extension?
at 11:52 13 Jan 2016

People don't want to pay £35 a pop, if we had a bigger stadium we would sell more season tickets which equates to like £20 a game... plus there were far more tickets on general sale given the volume of fans coming down from Sunderland.
