I agree entirely with what you say, the only thing that worries me is Les waving a contract under Cedric's nose when he already has 3 years to run. This could smack of a bit of desperation and would look like Les was worrying about everyone leaving constantly. I don't think this is the way forward. I think we might have more luck if we worked on trying to make the club more likeable generally ie perhaps appointing someone like MLT as a front man somewhere in the organisation as he is respected throughout the world. Perhaps then the Mail and suchlike might ease off and we might move up in the MOD order. |

Buck I could call you gullable for blindly believing in Reed but I won't because I don't believe in name calling I only care about Southampton Football Club. Reed has wasted approx 70m in wages and transfers on lame ducks that he has sanctioned. He has also discouraged Poch and Koeman from staying as he is always interfering with squad selections and these managers achieved good results. Yet another prospective experienced candidate Garcia has suggested that Reed wants to hand him a squad list and tell him to get on with it. Every year it's last minute signings managers leaving - players leaving. The only common denominator in all this is yours truly. |

The problem is with the manager. When you choose the wrong team then go behind you're always going to be chasing the game. The problems are compounded when he gets his subs wrong and then blames the players for a bad performance which then demotivates them for the next game. Koeman need to put a different record on instead of having a great lump up the front falling down and turning his wrists up every ten seconds and also playing with 10 men every time he chooses JWP as a starter. |
