Constant Calls for Changing Managers ad Infinitum
at 19:07 25 Feb 2026

Agree 100% with the OP.

Stability breeds competence and consistency. Instability breeds inconsistency. Managers need 2-3 years to bed in and build a system. Not 2-3 months. Everyone knows that Ferguson had 6 bad years at Man United before he went on to make them the best team in the world. Constant chopping and changing is the road to ruin. You just end up with overlapping systems and a group of players who don't quite fit in any of them.

Frustrating. He really hasn't had a clean run for a couple of years now.

I think this is our injury situation at the moment:
• R. Burrell, hamstring injury, due back early March 2026
• K. Poku, hamstring injury, due back early March 2026
• I. Chair, muscle injury, due back ?
• J. Obikwu, muscle injury, due back early March 2026
• Z. Larkeche, cruciate ligament injury, due back mid April 2026
• K. Dembélé, cruciate ligament injury, due back ?
• N. Madsen, hamstring injury, due back ?

Mr Kone
at 15:20 21 Feb 2026

Indeed. He is always in the thick of things. And he opens ups lot of space and chances by drawing player to himself and keeping them occupied. He is a warrior with a good nose for goal. Not perfect, but if he was perfect he wouldn't be playing for us. And he is your enough that there is space for loads of growth in his game

Yeah, thank god he ended up bagging one or his confidence would've taken a hit. Thing is, he works so hard and was, as he always seems to be, one of our better player, until he missed what looked like a sitter, twice in quick succession. Thing is, he didn't let his head go down, he didn't hide, he just kept working and, as they say, third times a charm. Pleased for the lad!

To be fair, they made a lot of mistakes and gave the ball away to us a ridiculous amount. You could say that all three goals came from Hull mistakes (one an own goal and the other two from poor passes straight to QPR players). Of course, it took a world class finish from Beanie and a cool finish from Kone to convert the chances, but you give away that number of chances you are going to get punished. It's not a bad reflection on us. We took our chances and that's what it's all about in the end. But I couldn't believe how many times they gifted us the ball around their own box. Suicidal

Mistake by Jimmy gives the ball away in dangerous position. More, it wipes out a promising possibility

Not a great shot from Kolli but it was a difficult one, so at least he is trying to get one
