Dunne off?
at 18:34 3 Feb 2025

This is the odd thing with Dunne - even now, at 27, his value to QPR is greater than the value his sale would generate for QPR… As with cook etc, this is likely to be the case even more so (as you say Hunter) when he’s over 30.

Feel like we should give him a four year deal and then ultimately he’s with us for good.

Did Nourry tell you we gave Madsen 4 years?

I do make sure that the Millwall defence was in no uncertain terms about how poor they were for letting a team of the quality of QPR play right through them for the equaliser - made me feel better about not being able to celebrate… also owe Sam Field an apology for venting at him to maintain my cover.

To be fair, from the Millwall end; I thought he gave a few in our favour… especially liked (and I mean that) when he waved play on as Edwards lifted their guy and placed him into touch in the second half.

Of course, I took the opportunity (under cover) to testiculate at their player for not playing the Millwall way.

As I posted elsewhere, I was in the wawlllll end today - my goodness it was grim.

I went under-cover with a stick on lion tattoo on my back/neck, a flat cap and tweed trimmed brogues… there were soooooo many flat caps in the concourse, it was insane.

Had a beer with my Millwall mate and neutral before in Borough market, which was taken over by QPR. And saw lots of familiar faces from P/Q blocks (mikey). Also saw Kevin Gallen heading into the ground, but still didn’t break cover.

What a horrible bunch they are. On five minutes they identified Chair as a ‘murderer’ and that feeling and this new truth grew with every minute - utter morons.

Anyway - you guys looked awesome from the other end. Wish i was there. Glad I’m not Millwall!

…highlight of the afternoon…

“Who’s that little quick one?”
“It’s Chair. He’s good”
“Yeah, little p****”
“Oi, didn’t he get in trouble the other year?”
“Yeah, he had a fight”
“Something about throwing a stone at a bloke”
“Wasn’t it a brick?”
“A boulder, I heard”
“I heard he killed a man”
“£&7£4£:”
“You know what you did ill-eye-ass chair… you know”
“MURDERER. Murderer”

…just unreal.

“Millwall nil” would be amazing - I’m in the Millwall end for this one with a Millwall friend.

I’m in the Millwall end today with a Millwall supporting friend and a neutral. Wish me luck. I’m sure you’ll all do us proud and I’ll be sure to get some video of the away end for someone with the social media channels to post (I have opted out).

…should the worst happen and I get outed, I have some beef jerky with me which i have had West Ham’s logo tattooed on, so I can throw some to the locals to gnaw on as a peace offering.

Every chance we’ve found two hens teeth in this team with Field and Chair under long-contracts during their best years at QPR.

Is t this possibly Nourry leaking it and building up to a big announcement later this afternoon?

I hope so as I’m in the Millwall end with a couple of wawl friends tomorrow and he is my hope of a rangers victory.

That restricted view seat is absolute tosh… we didn’t sell any seats in the corners. I was coincidentally looking to see whether they had been sold and they hadn’t, so it’s an attention seeker.

Move on. Nothing to see (so to speak).

Hull are doing well. QPR are doing incredibly well.

If all fit and firing, who's first choice at CB?

Good points well made…. Morrison and Clark-Salter - both under (assumed) long contracts.

Jimmy Dunne is too valuable at right back in this league, so for that reason he stays away from
CB.

Keep up our form from the last four until end of season and we’ll be top two.

Sky commentators stating that ‘Frey has been dominant but lacking a finish’… in other words… ‘last time we bothered to watch QPR he missed a couple of goal scoring opportunities’.

We definitely need a nasty midfielder on Saturday to counter Bannon. I would start with colback and bring Morgan on at 60.
