I am more interested to see if he can either give Fer or Chery the same freedom that he gave Adel. Fer does naturally have similar traits to Adel and from the little I have seen from Chery, he has potential too.
So, basically, can he make a new Adel from Fer or Chery? |

I was sitting in the school end with my 8-year old. We wanted to see the players afterwards however the Newcastle fans above us decided to start throwing stuff down (bottles and coins). At that point I went on the pitch more for safety than anything else. 5 mins later the TV gantry above where we were sitting was taken over by a Newcastle fan, who then began throwing all the big cables down and trying to throw the TV camera down (would have killed someone if he had succeeded). Pretty much the whole match the Newcastle fans above us were thrying to throw stuff down and calling everyone c*nts. Not great when half the stand were kids. Security did nothing about this, even though they were made aware.
I don't blame anyone sitting in the school end going on the pitch. |

I loved the fact that nobody in the team seemed to panic during the whole 90 minutes. We didn't hoof it up to nobody, we played it out of defence when needed and looked for the long ball at other times. It's so basic, but something we have missed. Away from Adel and Nelson, I thought Fabio and Onuoha played a massive part in doing this, at last we saw both of them composed, in addition they even went forward when needed. |

I do think he is still a good player, he just needs more direction. One of our biggest problems is that the midfield is so static, we have 2 defensive midfielders that don't go forward and 3 offensive midfielders that get lost. I think if we have the "old-fashioned" wingers, then he would do a job with overlaps. He looks shite at the moment because we have no wingers! Nobody to cross the ball in. Then nobody to actually be on the end of the ball.
Just out of interest, does anyone know where balanta is? If we only had one striker in the squad today, surely it would have made sense to have him on the bench? |

It's not up to us, but if you have seen the way the players have "played" over the past 3 or 4 games then that probably tells us more than anything. The players want him out. At the begining of the season the players still looked up for it. |

It's ridiculous. How can you be prosecuted for talking about something which had been broadcast on the BBC? Are we now not allowed to talk about anything we see on TV or in the newspapers, just in case they are wrong. |

I think Diakete is just finding his feet, last game he got sent off this game he's being too disciplined, the last ten games last season he found the right mix, hopefully he needs to get today out of his system without a yellow. |
