I get that at work all the time, you can tell someone what they did wrong and it will still always be someone else's fault. It really bugs me. When did saying sorry become a bad thing?
Apologies if there is another thread about Nardi but I couldn't find one using the search function.
I think I'm going to be liking him as much as Dieng if he continues to play well, but still early days. I'm surprised how old he is (30), he looks much younger than that but I guess 30 is quite young for goalkeepers. He had a really serious leg break only 12 months ago so to come back from that and be playing as well as he is, fair play to him.
Someone with a terrible taste in music but is good with computers needs to make a save compilation for him.
The Smyth attacking technique...use your pace to get in front of defender, once in front of defender either slow down so defender runs into you or run across their legs in the hope they clip you. If that doesn't work fall down anyway. Good cross for the goal yesterday though.
St Pauli in Germany have left Twitter completely and now just using Bluesky.
Hopefully it starts something but I doubt it. St Pauli are always a bit different.
Surely there's some software out that that can tap into Twitter, Bluesky and Threads so that the club just needs to post something once and it appears on all 3.
Yeah Twitter has become the same, because certain people with the blue tickare getting paid now there's just so much nonsense put on there to promote engagement. Baited questions to get people clicking.
I get tonnes of unwanted stuff on Twitter, most comments I see on topics are Only Fans models completely unrelated to the subject matter commenting for engagement. The only followers/engagement I receive on Twitter are from porn bots. I commented something generic on an authors post about a book he released and I have about 20 likes on this comment, you click on their profiles and every single one of them is a bot.
I am all for free speech but Twitter is too much, there have been numerous examples such as one of the Tate brothers repeatedly calling someone the N word yet there are no consequences. It's not free speech, it's hate speech.
How are "so-called Liberal regimes" trying to shut down free speech in the Western world? It's funny how people on the right talk about this kind of stuff but then they are happy for books to be banned because it mentions something they don't agree with.
I've been wanting to leave Twitter for a while now, I tried Mastodon when the initial wave of people started trying to leave Twitter but it never really seemed to take off so I stopped using it.
The only reason I use Twitter is to see what's happening in the world, see news as it's happening and see updates from QPR. I never use it to post. It's overrun with fake accounts and bots farming for clicks. I will give Bluesky a go, hopefully it can replace Twitter because I hate giving Musk money from seeing the terrible adverts on the platform.
For anyone that has not seen the latest Led By Donkeys video on Musk/Twitter:
It's strange how bad our home form is considering many people historically view it as a tough place to visit. You would think with the standing area in lower loft now and with an improved atmosphere it would somehow help the players. There was also that stat a little while ago that we went a really long time without scoring a goal shooting towards the loft.
Not such a crazy idea. He probably still has a house in West London so would be convenient for him. We just need a big financial backer to get him on board.
I've tried many times to use VPN to get cheaper flights but it never seems to work for me. Always seems to be the exact same price no matter what country I check.
But yes as someone else said, if you are not looking at booking the flight right away use incognito mode. Apparently it helps with not raising the prices before you decide to then buy.
For general admission you are looking at a cost of 13p For the highest price admission (which is above a tier of VIP) you are looking at a cost of £5.50.
I know the wages are not that high there but surely some people can afford 13p tickets?
