Celarbrace drags QPR’s team, fans and striker back from the brink – Report

And just think we may well be in a lower division to Stockport next season. A terrifying thought. I genuinely thought they were still in the National League until I looked at the League 1 table a month ago.

I have always thought we don't play to this guy's strengths. He is a finisher, not a lone striker chasing lost causes. He had a few decent efforts earlier in the season where you could tell he had something about him in the box. Maybe tonight shows he does. So pleased for him.

Blimey mate, being a football fan doesn't get much better than this. Enjoy the journey before you're back in the overrated Premier League.

I spent last October in Japan, doing lots of walking and time in Tokyo. Absolutely amazing time of year, and incredible colour changes, as you also get here obviously
One of my favourite times of year.

Frey and Jimmy are often together in Chiswick, along with Andersen and Cook. You're right, I get the impression Jimmy really loves being part of this team. He is literally building a Chiswick crew, he recommends every new player moves here. Frey seems to really enjoy living here too. Originally lived in Kensington but realised it was expensive and soulless there.

I've been a fan of Paul Smyth the moment we first saw him v Cardiff at home where he scored a great goal, followed by a brilliant volley at home to Sheff Wed. Didn't understand why we let him go so easily but very glad he's back now.

Ainsworth did very well signing Steve Cook and Paul Smyth.

Jimmy loves playing for QPR and living in Chiswick too. He'll definitely sign it but am also surprised to hear he hasn't.

Not necessarily. I often bump into Tim Lovejoy and he isn't really bothered by Chelsea or the Premier League anymore. As for Noel Gallagher, coming from the same bloke who always banged on about bands being organic and the lack of working class kids coming through the music or acting world, and rightly loathing and taking the piss out of manufactured boy bands, he really should know better. Like you say though, when it's your club winning things, hard to tell how you'd feel.

That's it. Fighting spirit. Huddersfield have it, as do Sheffield Wednesday and it seems Birmingham now too. I don't think we do, nor Stoke. Maybe that'll show by the end of the season.

I think the fact that we still control our own fate is the problem!

I'm sorry to say, and obviously hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see the team having the character to get out of this. Or the goals. We have reverted to the team we've been for most of the season, and at the end of the season, the table won't lie. Losing at home to Sheff Wed then not winning at Plymouth were really unforgiveable. And yes, from that position some blame has to go to the manager. I called it when he brought on Adomah, a player I'd honestly forgotten about. For some inexplicable reason he was back in the fold and back on the pitch. That's not to say it's all his fault, obviously it isn't, but it was a sign!

He gave a brilliant and inspired interview after a game this season and one fan on here criticised him for being too negative!

I the night wasn't depressing enough, you then see the spectacle of a player getting another experienced and honest player pointlessly sent off. What an absolute disgrace Bamford is.

"I am still concerned about the style of football we'll be playing next season. Dobson says they're not long ball merchants which is good to hear but he also indicated they have to cut their cloth according to the quality they have".

Sounds like commonsense to me, and a good thing. We don't want to be playing fancy football if we don't have the players to do it.
