there was 11 of us left on the last man standing tournament, 7 of which had coventry.
It would have been just 4 of us left in the competition, but that bloody 95th minute winner put it back up to 11 again. |

With last nights results Taunton 1-1 AFC Totton, the Mighty Merthyr take one step closer to the conference south last night, and ultimately one step closer to the same football league that the Swans play in.
Two wins needed from their remaining four games.

Wrexham will be going up this season.
Stronger than Wycombe with an 'easier' looking run in.
edit** the question is, what would be more exciting, a championship with Swansea and new boys Wrexham for a proper welsh derby :) with Cardiff in league one,
Or all three welsh clubs in the championship.

I wrote this back in November and just wanted to remind everyone that Merthyr are still top of the league, they have been top since i wrote this last year.
Currently 32 games unbeaten.
Top of the league, 11 points clear of 2nd place moneybags AFC Totton.
5 games left of the season to go. (Totton have 6 games left)
The lady of the chubby variety is warming her vocal chords.

Fantastic stuff. Merthyr were losing at half time too.
I said a few weeks back that I thought Merthyr had blown it as they were drawing too many games while Totton seemed to be on a run. But Merthyr are undefeated in 31 games now. Incredible.
Gosh imagine the meltdown on here if Merthyr get promoted. Haha

Gosh imagine in a few weeks we see the following happen…..
Wrexham promoted to the championship.
Cardiff relegated to league one.
Merthyr promoted to conference south.
Swansea finish top half of the league.
Newport finish top half of the league.
Colwyn Bay promoted to the Welsh prem.

brilliant win for Merthyr today, away from home too, after going one nil down.
They have 7 games left of the season to play.
I did say on here a few weeks back that i thought they had blown it, after drawing three games in a row.
It is going down to the wire i think..

i hope all welsh clubs do well, apart from the obvious.
They need to beat Wycombe if they have any hope of automatic, as Wycombe now have a game in hand before and even after tomorrows game. |
