I remember the League Cup game there in 2014!! I had a week that had been booked for a while in the Peak District and then we drew them out, so went along with the Mrs and kids!!! Was pretty much sitting on the pitch as they had no barriers up in the seats!! I just looked at the team we played that day and on paper it looks decent , we had 2 shots on target!! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/fo https://www.espn.co.uk/footbal [Post edited 14 Jan 8:43]

Assuming due to World Cup and giving players a bit more time. |

The rules of the game are not different, refs just get 'help' to apply 'correctly' PS - I would hate VAR each week! |

I am on iPhone and when I open mine it says "Hold Near Reader" so I assume its just popping your phone next to the reader at the turnstile. I am sure it will al work fine on the day. |

I got the sense that after great season at Stevenage in 24/25 and then a further loan to Barnsley that Murphy Cooper may be the future number 1. I haven't heard much about him this season though , last season (due to where he was) I was told most weeks how great he is. |

I agree re not knowing about the new rule. Couldn’t believe he said that in his interview. A professional goalkeeper and wasn’t aware! Makes me think he doesn’t watch much football as refs have been counting down on their fingers in most games all season! That aside I thought he had a very good game. |

Might just be me but I actually thought Dembele was really bright when he came on. Was beating players, drawing fouls and looked up for it. Unlucky with the shot as well. |

The Conference Centre is on London Road so hoping for a sharp get away this year!! |

Last year I went and there was a Pay and Display around a few mins walk from the Harvester where R's fans met. (its on Hudson Road as just looked at map) Cost about £5-6 from memory. There is also parking at the Harvester but limited spaces. I have booked the non-official parking that looks to be about 20 mins away and costs a tenner, as from looking at it, I am hoping for a quicker getaway. yes its a 20 min walk, but last year it was probably a 10 min walk to the car from the ground and then I sat in a queue for an hour getting away. There is restriced parking all down the road from Harvester, all the way to the ground, however those with a disabled parking permit parked along there and it was 'rammed' (excuse the pun!) It will be tight but think you will just make it. I would say 9 times out of 10 you would be fine at that time but you just never know! PS - My tickets just arrived :) |

I found it amazing that when they sacked Robins their fans were up in arms (the vast majority anyway!!) Most were not up for Frank and then a few games in and some good results and they are chanting his name and Robins is 'forgotten' about! Found this article that pretty much sums it up https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport |

Yes mate, everyone has different attitudes and different capital. A good spread is probably the best route!! |

I am no expert but in the last 10 years, Stock Market returns have been far far higher than any savings account. Thats not to say dont take your 25% but sticking in a 'safe' account that barely keeps with inflation vs a longer term Stock Market investment should be considered IMO. Ebveryone to their own but this brings it home for me The S&P 500 returned 261% during the last decade, which equates to 13.6% annually. (You would have been lucky to get 1% 10 years ago and yes the last year its been 4-5% but 13.6% each year even traking into account the meltdowns of COVID, Truss, Ukraine War, Trump tarrifs) For me the markets will always win over a loner period (5+ years) |

I actually thought it was a positive seeing all these support staff around. The game is different to what it was years ago and data/analytics/psychology/logisitcs are part of that game. I didnt think we had all that so was pleasing. The photo could have been even bigger with all the other staff e.g. box office, media team (somehting else that is big now), shop staff. It didnt even need to stop there, could have added matchday programme sellers, kiosk staff and even the stewards Golfers and F1 drivers have loads of people around them (all playing their part for the one person) its the same with our squad and the same in many other businesses.
