Apparently heading there for a fee of around 5m. Would like to have him down here if VDH goes. Thought he was solid last year without pulling up trees. Would his wages be too much for us? |

Allardyce , Moyes, Pardew or another in the same vein of manager would certainly not be the type of manager to get us back to 'playing good football'. The board have a decision on their hands as to whether they want a period of rebuilding and go down the route of appointing a younger manager with new ideas which could take a number of seasons to get the foundations in place.
Or
Do they go down the 'tried and tested' route and hopefully a quick fix with one of the managers above that know how to grind results and work with what they have but almost certainly at the detriment of playing style. I personally would prefer the former as the latter may just paper over the cracks with what is fundamentally going wrong at our club. |

For me ideal scenario would be : 3pts from Everton and 1pt from Chelsea and Bournemouth games, allowing us to go into our final 2 home games with the pressure almost off.
Man City game omitted on purpose, don't think it'll be pretty tbh |

I was at the same game and was my first trip to Anfield and I felt exactly the same. Was rather disappointed after hearing of the 'legendary' Anfield atmosphere for so many years. Was like a library the majority of the game and we outsang the home support for 90 mins. Only heard a peep from them when they scored. |

I can't remember him ever predicting anything other than a loss for us though, God knows where they came from.. |

I think, although he may not necessarily have proven his price tag was worth it yet, since Carvahal has come in he has been excellent, a different player. I do think he is hugely affected by the fans, something he may need to improve on. His body language would be really poor when things weren't coming off for him in the earlier season and when getting subbed you could clearly see his frustration and he looked lost out there. When results/performance started picking up under Carlos e.g the Liverpool game he ran and ran and worked tremendously hard and the crowd was fully behind that and you could see his confidence soar. Could be a great player for us! |

'What attributes/skills are you able to bring to the Board. I have a methodical approach and organisational skills which I hope have been of value to the Board. The valuable resource of ‘time’, has also been something I have been able to bring, although that is something which is an increasing challenge. '
Am I missing something here? Or is he basically saying that an attribute he brings to the board is his 'time' and even that is something that he is struggling to do??
Is that really a skill/attribute? |

What i found hugely positive is they didn't feel sorry for themselves after the red card decision went against them and really dug deep to put in another outstanding defensive performance. That point could be massive for us and a huge missed opportunity for them. COYS! |
