Great summary Steve, particularly about Lumley. One of the few times I think Warbs has not handled something well. I've always liked Lumley, and I really hope he and the club can come to an agreement. Other than that, what a thoroughly enjoyable few months. Real genuine optimism for next season. |

Not sure what games Boothroyd was watching when he said he didn't do much at either game apart from a 40 yard pass with the outside of his foot.
In the away game, Adel set up Smith to score, also with the outside of his boot!
As for the game at Loftus Road, apart from the 40 yard assit withg the outside of his boot, he scored the first goal with a cracking solo effort. So yeah, apart from 2 brilliant assists and one solo effert, he done fack'all!! :-) |

What about Matt Smith's "effort" to block Vaulks effort by literally (yes, LITERALLY) diving out of the way of the shot!! Had he not dived out of the way and actually stayed on his feet and tried to block it, the shot may never have even reached our goal! |

Great report Clive. Bit surprised Bidwell is the only player not to get at least a 7. Apart from a being a good solid team performance from 1 to 11, wasn't it Bidwell's challenge that set up the move for our 3rd goal? 7/10 would've been a minimum for all the starting 11 imo. Great performance. |

londonscottish - That's a joke post surely? BZ, AJ (Andy Johnson??) and Taarabt didn't rip anything up at the beginning of the 2012 season! That was the beginning of the Mark Hughes Season of disaster! The only thing we possibly ripped up was the record book for taking something like 17 games to win a match!! Did Andy Johnson ever have more than half a dozen of decent games for us? In the Championship last season maybe...

In response to TeddRanger - It's 3 goals in 21 matches for Phillips. Mackie got 9 by the time he got injured in January 2011. Mackie not only contributed with a fair few goals, a lot of them were important goals too - In both the Champ and the Prem.
Ji Sung Park has been poor for us, do you think he was poor for Man U based on his time with us? Absolutely not! The same should be said for Mackie. Irrespective of his form/goals for Forest and what you think of him as player technically or otherwise, he contributed massively to us whilst he was here. |
