Interesting plug on the RAFC website, maybe they do read this stuff! Which is nice. |

I think I was sufficiently annoyed about this o post last year. Anyway, now we have a marketing manager, this site will be being monitored, so I look forward to this being responded to. |

I'm in! Is there any way we could send a list of people interested and their email addresses to the club? |

Just got the letter from Peter Woodhouse, asking me for a cheque and to confirm whether I want to sponsor a goal again next season. Funnily it's the same letter as last year, a single sheet of A4, no club crest, plain text, riddled with typos. It's the kind of thing you would have got from Sunday school, inviting you to the 1974 garden party. Staggeringly it, doesn't even have a return address! Yet, it states that "off-the-field income is very important to the club." Obviously not important enough to give you a return address, or an alternative means of payment, I think the last time I wrote a cheque was for this last year. The thing that's most amazing is that I made the suggestion the form was improved when I returned it last year. So sum total of improvement "off-the-field" = zilch. Bloody Rubbish |

At least Sarfend are a proper League club. Average away following for Sarfend 417. Wycombe 313. 104 x 20 = £2,080. |

Welcome back to a proper League Club. Commiserations to Grimsby, next time eh? Another real club who should be in the League. |

Presumably what they mean is, you only get the Juvenile price - in advance. Unless they think it's going be an '18' |

I posted earlier about the infrastructure in the whole club, starting at the top. Putting this all on the shoulders of one person is of course unfair. But team Rochdale is about just that. My view is that the Directors will be congratulating themselves on a great season on the pitch. I think that underlying this Hill generated playing side success is masking deficiencies at Board level. The appointment of a marketing manager is a no brain move, but we need a Director responsible for growing our off pitch income, who can work with the new Marketing Manager to drive forward all our commercial activities. The job is tough though, to change years of acceptance that most people in Rochdale are not inclined to turn up. It's annoying when people sometimes are too accepting of failure, this, whether we like it or not is business and we need to drive continual improvement. Just like Keith and the playing staff do. Wakey Wakey was directed at the board, so good call if you think I missed the point. |

Paid to deal with pressure. Not up to it? Move on. |

Do we think if Keith Hill was the managing director we'd be thinking 2,300 when we are in our highest ever league position is a good gate? I don't think so. |

I'm just drawing attention to the size of the task. Even the dwarf Stelling was taking the p!ss out of our gates on SSS last week. Big job. Good luck with it. |
