Maybe Stewart can answer the forward position
Cause presently speaking we have no one capable of getting more than 7/8 goals this season

McCarthy is incapable of such a task

A fair result
Why we take those chances at the back is beyond belief
In fairness to McCarthy and I have not rated him
But today he couldn’t be faulted except for 1 punch, so fair play to him
Mara. What is the point. Zero impact. Stewart showed more in 5 minutes that he did in his whole time on the pitch
Jack Stephens. Aka. Cart horse. Most mistakes emanating from his suicidal passing

WBA are a average team and we should beat them if we stop giving chances from our own misgivings

I think the negative thoughts are from people myself included stems from the ridiculous risk taking from the stupid play at the back
If you have highly talented players who are comfortable on the ball under pressure
Then this is a hard set up to stop
However the major flaw to our plan is we don’t possess any players who are in that bracket
So we are constantly shooting ourselves in the foot
Let’s be honest so far to concede 61 goals in the championship is beyond belief
I think the ideology of supporting your club should not blind anyone to common sense
I have supported the saints for over 60 years and I think at this stage I have experienced more lows than highs
However I wouldn’t have it any other way
When the highs come it’s a joy to behold
This season has been good however I’m afraid when results were required against the top teams
We were found wanting
This is reality

As regards playoffs. Can you truly imagine this team being promoted

Then messing about and almost gave a goal away
That’s all he had to do with no pressure
Never rated him and that has not changed in the little games I’ve seen him in since
