I was at the Wexford Galway game yesterday - Galway operated at about 70% and had far too much for Wexford. They are immensely strong and physical and very accurate. It will take a very good team to beat them this year
Kilkenny have lost their aura of the last 10 years - I have a feeling that waterford will see them off next week.
As for the football, there is only one game this year - Dublin v Kerry in the Final - everything else is "arse-boxing"!! |

Where's Brian?
Cork are in the doldrums and seem to be stuck there for a while. Clare are most likely to challenge KK this year. Wishing for a change at the top but may be a bit off yet. Hurling an d football now dominated by 3/4 in each code which is not good for either game in the short term(long term if KK keep winning) |

Joe Jackson, supported by The Specials, in 1979. Olympic Ballroom, Dublin. For a 14 year old, it was mind blowing. Loud, out of control "dancing" and various members of the specials climbing the stacks. Brilliant.
This was closely followed by U2 in the TV club just after they were supposed to have disbanded! |

Ireland only have to equal or better Scotland's result against Poland to be guaranteed a play-off spot. Scotland's last game against Gibraltar will hopefully be a dead rubber. |
